We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team for ongoing, long term stable work. We specialize in renovating buildings. The ideal candidate will have his own truck and tools and be willing to travel within Wanaka region. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or valid NZ work visa. Requirements: Proven 2+ years experience as renovation carpenter, hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials, understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction, proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools, ability to read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements, willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times, good physical condition and endurance, possession of hand tools, basic power tools and reliable transportation to job sites, must be up to date with NZ health and safety laws and well presented. Applicants must be able to pass a relevant police security clearance. Applicants must have an up to date CV and 2 recent related references from your past.
