Description

Minimal Design is seeking a Civil Engineering technician to work in our Wanaka Office. In the role, you will coordinate with other consultants when designing buildings, drainage, earthworks, and utility supply. You will grow into your role as an integral, valued and important member of our team. Work Activities will include: • Assisting with the undertaking Civil Engineering technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations • Engineering Design Cad using BIM 3D software • Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals, including architects and subcontractors • Undertaking calculation, report writing and compiling job specs and supervision tendering procedures • Assisting with the overseeing of construction contracts and contract supervision (where applicable) • You will assist to liaise with council for resource consents, engineering approvals and building consents The successful applicant must be self-motivated, technically capable, and able to work independently.
