The Vocal Collective returns from touring the Upper South Island and is back for a session of its popular [Un]Plugged format. With acoustic treatments of some popular hits of the last decade and a reprise of highlights from their much-loved Great Kiwi Songbook, you will love this afternoon of song. Join Artistic Director, Richard Marrett with pianist, Caelan Thomas in the beautiful ambience of The Piano and celebrate the end of NZ Music Month. The Vocal Collective was created to bring joy to the people of Christchurch and delights in performing popular music at venues around the city and beyond. The repertoire is chosen from a wide range of genres with vocal styles such as pop, rock, jazz, musical theatre, swing, soul and even some traditional classics, creating an exciting mix for performers and audiences alike.
