We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Coordinator and Payroll Officer, whose responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Be the main point of contact with Libelle’s external recruitment company and work with them to post job ads and review resumes and job applications Review candidates from Libelle’s external recruitment company to ensure they have completed background and reference checks with operations managers to schedule final interviews and/or trials Work alongside the Training & Compliance Administrator and Operations Manager to induct the newly hired employees Compile and update employee records Work alongside Libelle's external HR advisor to ensure all human resources policies and procedures are filed and up to date Process documentation and prepare reports when requested relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc) - Liaise with Libelle's external HR advisors to deal with and keep a record of employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations Keep a record of any employee complaints, grievances and disputes Conduct exit interviews via a phone call Review and update the employee Code of * * Conduct on an annual basis or on a case by case basis when required Maintain the digital employee database Coordinate employee safety, welfare and wellness Keep in constant communication with Libelle's external HR advisor to ensure Libelle maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions Distribute any changes in legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions to the operations managers Digitalize current processes and systems alongside the CEO, EA to the CEO and Go Digital Temp Staff Analyzing employment agreements and ensuring they are executed correctly Maintaining employee personnel files Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income, social security taxes, employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments Resolving payroll discrepancies Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed Perform other related duties as assigned by management Manage worker’s compensation administration, including accident reporting requirements and claims management Serve as point of contact for all payroll inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt, courteous and appropriate resolution Maintain accurate job descriptions Requirements: Relevant Human Resource and Payroll experience Relevant Qualifications To apply, send your application to Zoe at Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
